After post-holing in waist high snow and a few days of low vis and storms, we decended. As they say, the mountain will most likely be there next time, It’s only a volcano! Camp Muir tonight, look for a summit Monday, weather, will and avy conditions permitting. We will descend Tuesday before the next storm comes through. Definitely different going for it without guides.
